 Dr. Ing. Benjamín Reyes (Pos-Doc, UNC-CONICET) received the title of Electronic Engineer of the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN-FRC) in 2008; and his PhD. in Engineering of the Universidad Nacio

nal del Sur in 2015.

In 2008 he developed his thesis in the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Research Group of the Faculty of Astronomy, Mathematics and Physics (FAMAF) of the National University of Córdoba.

Between 2006 and 2007 he participates as president of the Cooperativa de Estudiantes de Electrónica (CEE), promoting the training of students of the Electronic Engineering career of UTN – FRC.

As an Engineer and until 2009 he is dedicated to the layout of integrated circuits in ClariPhy Argentina S.A. Specializing in the design of layouts of high-speed analog circuits.

In 2009 he obtained a doctoral scholarship from the National Agency and in 2012 from CONICET for the development of his thesis on “Analog-Digital High-Speed ​​Converters for Communication Systems” and in 2015 obtained the title of PhD in Engineering from the Universidad Nacional del Sur.

Since 2012, it has actively participated in the organization of the Argentine School of Micro-Nanocelectronics, Technology and Applications (EAMTA) and its associated CAMTA conference, whose objective is to promote the area between undergraduate and graduate students of the country and the region.

He is currently developing his Post-Doctoral research with CONICET scholarship on the topic “Analog-Digital Analog-Digital Converters and Analog Front-End for Communication Systems”, and participates in technological connection with companies in the sector.

His current interests include design issues in CMOS micro-nanoelectronics, design of high-speed analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs), and IC design for high-speed digital communications.


Ing. Ronald Velenzuela (Synopsys Inc., Chile) is an Electronics Engineer form Universidad de Concepción (Concepción, Chile), he also has a Graduate Certificate on Electronic Circuits form Stanford University (Stanford, CA).

He currently manages a team of Corporate Application Engineers (C.A.E.) specialized in Power Compiler, a tool that implements power optimization during logic synthesis. As C.A.E. he provides technical support to field engineers regarding tool and low power methodologies for Design Compiler, they also ensure product quality by performing functional tests using real design flows and the collaborate to define requirements of each new project.


 Ing. Laura María Biolato (UTN-FRC) was born in Monte Maíz, Córdoba, on March 14, 1990. She completed her secondary studies at Sacred Heart College, obtaining the title of “Bachelor in Production of Goods and Services” with orientation in “Industrial Maintenance” In December 2007. She started his degree in Electronics Engineering at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Regional Faculty Córdoba, in 2008, culminating his studies in March 2016.

She has obtained a scholarship in the Central Laboratory of Electronics and was part of the Cooperativa de Estudiantes de Electrónica for two years, a group dedicated to the organization of courses to the career, acquisition and distribution of study material, and coordination of trips for attendance to congresses and symposiums of electronics. During her last year of career took the position of Auxiliar de Segunda Dedicated to the participation in the program “Te ayudo a Graduarte“, implemented in the UTN-FRC.

Since 2014 he has been part in the analog microelectronics design at Fulgor Foundation, Córdoba, Argentina, where she continues to develop his activities, including analog CMOS design for high speed applications and collaboration in the teaching of Analogue Microelectronics courses.


Ing. Fredy Solis Fredy Solis is an Electronic Engineer from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional Facultad Regional Córdoba (UTN-FRC), Argentina. Since 2016 he has been involved as a member of the Microelectronics and Analog Design Group at Fundación Fulgor. Recently, he has started his Ph.D. on mixed-signal integrated circuits design with high-speed digital communication systems applications. His research interests include high-speed mixed-signal circuits (like ADCs, DACs and so on), low power analog design and new technologies applied to electronic design and telecommunications.


Ing. Diego J. Hernando was born in Villa Carlos Paz, Argentina in July 1993. He graduated as an Electronic Engineer in October 2018, at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional Facultad Regional Córdoba (UTN – FRC).
Since December 2018 he carries out research and development activities in the Microelectronics and Analogical Design Group of FULGOR Foundation. He is currently starting his postgraduate master’s studies in the area of integrated circuit design.
Among others, his interests lie in the field of mixed-signal circuit design.
